Who we are
What We Do

PLACE, which amalgamated with Bell Fischer Landscape Architects in November 2016, is an employee owned trust that encourages the involvement of all staff in the success of the company and provides an ethos of excellence. The team has national and international experience, with a commitment to high standards in design and implementation, creating carefully conceived and well-executed landscapes. Our expertise enables us to provide impartial advice to Government through CABE (the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment), local Design Review Panels and through our work with the Landscape Institute. The practice is led by directors Gordon Bell, Tony Edwards and Giles Hopgood.

We are looking for a Landscape Architect with a minimum of two years’ work experience who has strong design skills and an ability to illustrate their work with flair and creativity. Previous experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments would be useful. We need someone with plenty of enthusiasm and proficiency in Autocad, Sketch-up and Adobe Creative Suite. Graphic design skills and the ability to use Keyscape would be an added bonus.
